Ted has the movement, temperament, height and pedigree for FEI dressage potential. With his outstanding conformation, striking appearance and lots of bling, Ted would also certainly stand out and be very competitive in the show ring as a large hunter hack.

Ted is great for the farrier as we start this from a few days old, and then every 5 weeks, his vaccinations and worming are all up to date. Ted is very easy to lead, tie, float, stable and well socialised. He is a very well mannered colt - loves his cuddles, brushes, and is gentle and respectful of space.

On the sire's line of JOYERO JF III (Imp), Ted is 100% pure Escalera line, which is one of the Spanish horse's oldest and most prestigious bloodlines. Escalera horses are famed for breeding only bay horses of uniformity, height, power and functionality for over 300 years. Escalera horses have excelled for centuries in all disciplines. They have less knee elevation, which enables the better extension, straightness, impulsion and suspension, all of which are sought after for dressage.

 

On the dam's line of SONNENSTERENE, Ted carries an impressive line of genetics, including SUNNY BOY, SANDRO HIT, DONNERHALL and ARGENTINIUS, to highlight a few. SUN AND FUN (Imp), the sire of SONNENSTERENE is renowned for throwing brilliant temperaments, outstanding trot mechanics, ground-covering walks and canters with a beautiful jump. SUN AND FUN (Imp) was praised at the Stallion Performance Test in Germany for his readability, willingness to work and character, scoring between 8 and 9.
